As of Wednesday, the death toll from the Texas tornadoes has reached 19, with additional fatalities reported in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kentucky. The powerful winds and heavy rain spawned by these storms also caused widespread power outages, uprooted trees, and damaged homes and businesses.
