Luton Town claimed a historic first Premier League victory by shocking forlorn Everton at Goodison Park.

The Hatters, who were promoted from the Championship last season, stunned the Toffees with a 2-1 win.

James Collins put Luton ahead in the first half, and although Richarlison equalised for Everton after the break, Harry Cornick grabbed the winner with just over 10 minutes remaining.

The victory was Luton's first in the Premier League since 1992, and it lifted them out of the relegation zone.

Everton, meanwhile, have now lost their last three Premier League games and are just two points above the relegation zone.
