Three Injured in Fire Near Maysville, Garvin Co. Sheriff Confirms

Maysville, OK, August 19, 2023 -

Three people were injured in a fire Friday afternoon near Maysville, according to Garvin County Sheriff Larry Rhodes. Rhodes said the fire started around 1 p.m. at a home on County Road 1220, just east of State Highway 76.

The Maysville Fire Department, Pauls Valley Fire Department, and Wynnewood Fire Department responded to the scene. The injured were transported to OU Health Pauls Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Rhodes said the fire is under investigation. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
