WNBA News & Fantasy Basketball Notes 8/31

Hot Off The Press:

- Liz Cambage proved she’s a problem for the Mystics last night. She had one of the best games of her career and showed no mercy. Her stat line included 30 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. She did it all. - With A'ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart out, Cambage is the best big in the league right now. She’s a force to be reckoned with, both offensively and defensively. She’s averaging 14 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks in the bubble, so don’t be surprised to see a big game out of her again. - The Mystics fell to 5-7 on the season, which puts them in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. They’re now two games behind the Washington Mystics. - The Aces are now 8-4, which is good for second place in the Western Conference. They’re one game behind the Las Vegas Aces.

Fantasy Basketball Notes:

- If you’re looking for a player to add to your fantasy team, Liz Cambage is your girl. She’s a walking double-double, and she’s also a great source of blocks and steals. - A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart are both expected to miss the rest of the season, so Cambage is going to be even more valuable in fantasy basketball. - Other players to consider adding to your team include: - Jordin Canada - Chelsea Gray - Dearica Hamby - Jackie Young - Napheesa Collier

Looking Ahead:

- The WNBA playoffs are just around the corner, so make sure you’re ready. The first round of the playoffs begins on September 8th. - The Aces are the favorites to win the championship this year, but the Mystics, Sparks, and Storm are all capable of making a title run.
